Contents page comparisons

The two ‘Kerrang!’ contents pages both follow the continuous yellow and black colour scheme used for the magazine (even if the one which has iron maiden on it features more yellow then the other) whilst the NME follows a red and white colour scheme which could connote passion for music and the yellow on the other two could represent caution signs which fits in with the general stereotypical view of rock music being aggressive or even dangerous. All three of the pages feature large block fonts as it makes it easier for the audience to read then for example if all the fonts were in script handwriting fonts. All three also have images of pages or images taken from further on in the magazine to appeal to the audience as they can see what appeals to them and what they want to read. Another similarity is that all the contents have sections in which the pages on the features list are organised into.
